Drop a .xlsx and Bindery unpacks the workbook in your browser: shared strings, numbers, dates, booleans and the cached results of formulas are read from each visible sheet and laid out as a grid using the column widths Excel stored. Wide sheets turn landscape automatically; the first row is treated as a header and repeated on every page.
It is an honest grid conversion: fonts become Helvetica; colours, merged-cell layouts, charts and conditional formatting are not reproduced, and the result says how many sheets, rows and cells carried over. Bindery runs entirely in your browser — your file is never uploaded, so there is nothing to delete from a server afterwards.

Grids that paginate cleanly
Bindery unpacks the workbook in your browser and reads every visible sheet: shared strings, numbers, dates, booleans and the cached result of each formula, laid out using the column widths Excel stored. Sheets wider than a portrait page turn landscape automatically, columns are scaled to fit, and very wide sheets get a smaller font instead of being cut off. The first row is treated as a header and repeated on every page so a long table stays readable. Each sheet starts on a new page.

Questions people ask
Do formulas work?
Formulas are shown as the value Excel last calculated — the cached result stored in the file. Bindery does not recalculate.
What happens to wide sheets?
If the columns are wider than a portrait page, the sheet is laid out in landscape and columns are scaled to fit; very wide sheets get a smaller font rather than being cut off.
Is my spreadsheet uploaded?
No. The .xlsx is unpacked and the PDF assembled entirely in your browser.
Are hidden sheets or hidden rows included?
Hidden sheets are skipped. Rows and columns are laid out as stored; check the result if the workbook relies on hidden rows.
Do dates and currencies format correctly?
Dates are written as dates and numbers as Excel last displayed them where the format is stored; currency and percentage symbols follow the cell format when it is a standard one.
Can I convert a .csv?
Open the CSV in a spreadsheet app and save it as .xlsx first. Bindery reads .xlsx workbooks.
