Blank scanner pages, duplicated sheets, the one page that belongs to a different document — Bindery’s page board shows every page as a real thumbnail so you can spot and remove them with a click. The remaining pages are written to a fresh PDF in their original quality.
Deleting pages this way removes them from the new file entirely — they are not hidden, they are simply not copied. Bindery runs entirely in your browser — your file is never uploaded, so there is nothing to delete from a server afterwards.

Remove pages, keep everything else as it was
Blank sheets from a duplex scanner, a duplicated page, the terms-and-conditions page nobody asked for, the cover sheet from the fax — the board shows every page as a real thumbnail so the unwanted ones are easy to spot, and a click marks them. The new file is rebuilt from only the pages you kept, in their original order, with the text still selectable and images at their original resolution.
Because the removed pages are not copied into the new file — rather than hidden or covered — they cannot be recovered from it. That is what you want for a document you are about to send. It is not, however, a redaction: if the sensitive material is on a page you are keeping, use Redact, which removes the text underneath the boxes.
Delete, extract or split?
When a few pages go and most stay, Delete is fastest. When a few pages stay and most go, Extract is fastest — pick the keepers. When the file must be cut into several parts, use Split. All three run on the same page previews and none of them touch the original file.

Tips
- Scanner blank pages are rarely perfectly blank — a faint speckle keeps them from being auto-detected. On the board they are obvious.
- Delete first, then compress: fewer pages, smaller file, less to compress.
- Filled forms: flatten before deleting pages so the answers stay visible in the rebuilt file.
- A mistake costs nothing — the original file is untouched, so run it again.
Questions people ask
Are deleted pages really gone from the new file?
Yes. The output is rebuilt from only the pages you kept — removed pages are not copied into it at all.
Can I recover a page I deleted by mistake?
Your original file is never touched, so just run the tool again from the original and keep that page this time.
Does the quality of the remaining pages change?
No. Kept pages are copied unchanged — text stays selectable and images keep their resolution.
Can someone recover a page I deleted?
Not from the new file. Removed pages are not copied into it at all. Your original file, which still contains them, stays on your device — delete it yourself if it should not exist.
Can I delete a range of pages, like 10 to 25?
Select them on the board — click the first, then the others. For long ranges it can be quicker to open Extract and type the pages you want to keep instead.
Does deleting pages make the file smaller?
Yes, in proportion to what those pages used. Only the fonts, images and resources of the kept pages are written to the new file.
