Rename invoice PDFs by date, supplier and invoice number

Check the proposed names before you download and type over any that are wrong. The PDFs themselves are not changed, and a CSV of old names, new names, dates, numbers and totals comes with the ZIP — ready to paste into a spreadsheet. Nothing is uploaded.

3. Download the ZIP of renamed invoices and the CSV index

Questions people ask

Can I add the total to the name?

Yes — add {amount}, for example {date}_{from}_{amount}. The total is read from Amount due, Balance due, Grand total or Total, never a subtotal.

Are the invoices uploaded?

No. They are read and renamed in your browser tab, and the files themselves are not changed.

What about scanned receipts?

Run OCR on them first so there is text to read; the renamer then reads the searchable copies.
