The range field accepts more than one number — “7”, “1-3, 8” or “11-12” — with the board and the field kept in sync so you always see precisely what you are taking, and invalid input is flagged before you can run. Very large documents are the interesting case: above 200 MB Bindery switches to big-file mode, where a streaming parser copies only the objects your chosen page uses, so extracting a page from a two-gigabyte scan works on an ordinary laptop. In that mode forms, bookmarks and metadata are not carried over; the page itself is.

Questions people ask
Does the extracted page lose quality?
No. The page is copied into the new document unchanged — the same text objects, fonts and images at the same resolution. Nothing is re-rendered or re-encoded, so a vector diagram stays vector and a scan stays at its scanned resolution.
Can I extract several separate pages at once?
Yes. Click as many thumbnails as you like or type a range such as “1-3, 8, 11-12”; they go into one new PDF in document order. If you want each page as its own file instead, use Split with “every page”, which delivers them as a ZIP.
Does it work on a huge scanned file?
Yes. Files above 200 MB are never loaded whole; big-file mode streams the document and copies only the objects the chosen pages reach, so a page can be pulled from a file far larger than your device’s memory. Forms, bookmarks and metadata are not carried in that mode.
