Do my photos lose quality when they become PDF pages?
No. JPG and PNG files are embedded into the PDF exactly as they are, without re-encoding. If the resulting document is too large to send, run Compress afterwards; it shows the real size of each level before you choose, and only images that genuinely shrink are re-encoded.
Which page size should I pick for photographs?
“Fit image” makes each page the exact size of its picture, which is right for screenshots and scans. “A4 pages” centers every photo on a standard sheet, which is better when the packet will be printed or when the other files are A4 documents.
