How do I get the PDFs into Bindery on an iPhone?
Tap the file picker in the app and choose them from the Files app, iCloud Drive or any provider Files shows; photos come in the same way for Images → PDF. iOS does not let a web app receive files from the share sheet, so start from Bindery and pick, rather than sharing into it.
Where does the merged file go?
Safari offers to save it through the share sheet — to Files, iCloud Drive, Mail or any app — or into the Downloads folder in Files. Nothing is kept anywhere else, because the merge happened on the phone rather than on a server.
Does it need the App Store?
No. Bindery is a web app: use it in Safari as a page, or add it to the home screen from the share sheet for an icon, a full-screen window and offline use once loaded. There is nothing to install, update or grant permissions to.
