Questions people ask

Does a touchscreen Chromebook make a difference?

It makes drawing nicer — a finger or a stylus on the pad produces a natural signature — but it is not required. On a Chromebook without touch, draw with the trackpad or type your name and pick a style; placement works with a click either way.

Can students sign permission forms this way?

Yes, and nothing they sign is sent to Bindery, which keeps the job on the device and out of any upload policy. For a form with fields, fill them first; for a scanned form without fields, Markup adds text where the blanks are and Sign adds the signature.

Is a drawn signature enough?

For everyday paperwork, a visible signature on the document is what people expect and accept. It carries no cryptographic proof; when a counterparty needs evidence the file has not changed since signing, Certify adds a real digital signature verifiable in any reader, with the key kept on the device.
